This instrument can be used to measure the oxygen transmission rate of barrier materials with high and medium barrier properties with high accuracy and high efficiency. Design of integrated test block consisting of three permeation cells. Equipped with a high precision sensor and professional computer- controlled system, the instrument can regulate and control the temperature, humidity and flow rate precisely, guaranteeing high sensitivity and excellent repeatability of test results. The device is applicable to the determination of oxygen permeability of plastic films, sheeting, paper, and other packaging materials used in food, pharmaceutical, medical apparatus, consumer products, photovoltaic and electronic industries, etc. Optional accessories extend the capability to testing complete packages and systems such as bottles, pouches, cartons, blister packs, tubes and more.\nThe pre-conditioned specimen is mounted between the upper and lower chambers at ambient atmospheric pressure. The upper chamber contains oxygen or air and the lower chamber is slowly purged by a stream of nitrogen. Due to the concentration difference between the two chambers, oxygen molecules permeate through the specimen into the nitrogen side and are taken to the sensor where proportional electrical signals are generated. The oxygen transmission rate is then obtained by analyzing the signals and\ncalculating the volume of oxygen measured by the sensor. For whole package samples,high purity nitrogen flows inside the package, and oxygen or air flows outside.\n\nStandards\n\tASTM D3985, ASTM F2622, ASTM F1307, ASTM F1927, ISO 15105-2, JIS K7126-B\nFeatures:\n•\tEquipped with baseline correction function, measure system error and ensure test accuracy.\n•\tIt has standard film calibration function and sensor external calibration function.\n•\tReal-time monitor test status, save the test status in the whole process, to realize the reproducibility of all test data curves, and to facilitate the subsequent evaluation of the test process.\n•\tThe test curves of each cavity can be displayed individually or in groups for comparison ; the test curves have the capabilities of full-screen display, partial observation, and variable ratio display.\n•\tWith power failure data storage function, data sampling rate is adjustable, has automatic repeat test function.\n•\tOpen database system for easy data analysis.\n•\tTrace oxygen sensor, can measure oxygen content down to ppb level; Pa level micro current measurement, higher measurement accuracy.\n•\tHigh-precision mass flowmeter, precise flow control.\n•\tProfessional piping system to ensure the cleanliness of the carrier gas.\n•\tThe patented pipeline flushing technology speeds up the test speed and makes the test more efficient.\n•\tThe installation technology of anti-side leakage sealing of the sample enhances the sealing of the sample.\n•\tThe test humidity can be precisely controlled, and the humidity control accuracy is not affected by changes in the laboratory environment.\n•\tThe overall temperature control technology controls the temperature of the test chamber and pipeline as a whole, with high temperature control accuracy.\n•\tAutomatic test: set the test parameters, the test will be carried out automatically after the start, automatically judge the end of the test and save the test results.\n•\tHost software encryption database system, data can be exported, storage, query, printing, and other functions. Through the analysis of historical data, it is easy to get the historical dynamics of the product.\n•\tHigh-efficiency test, low nitrogen consumption, and can be verified by national first-class standard test material.\n•\tExtensible container testing.\n•\tThe system has self-inspection ability to avoid continuing testing under fault conditions.
